Reflections

Calling all dancers, film makers, writers, composers, photographers and visual artists (including 3D)! You’re invited to create original works of art for the 50thanniversary of the National PTA Reflection contest.
This year’s theme is “HEROES AROUND ME” 
Choose the art category you are interested in, create an original piece of artwork based on the theme, and be recognized as an artist in your school! All grades and abilities welcome!
Official participation rules, category rules, consent forms and entry forms can be found at http://www.utahpta.org/reflections. Copies can also be picked up in the office.
Deadline for entries is Friday, November 2, 2018 in the main office.

Jog-a-Thon!!

We earned $15,367!

The Jog-a-thon was lots of fun!  Thank you to everyone who came out and volunteered as well as those who came out to support the kids!  It was a beautiful day and the kids ran their hearts out!

It sounds as if there was lots of confusion about the amount that was kept by the Fundeazy group – the non-profit group we partnered with for the online donations. It was NOT 25%. If you received a piece of swag for your donation, the swag cost $8 and included all of the fees. If you donated online with no swag, there was a 10% fee.

The Fundeazy team also was our wholesaler for the branded rewards for the kids – Highland Park branded yo-yo’s and Highland Park branded headsets. To be clear – the PTA pays over $3000 for items every year to support the Jog-a-thon.  We were able to save almost $1500 this year by using the Fundeazy team for reward items.

We appreciate everyone’s support and look forward to a great year!
